Short abstract from the book: he Atlantic puffin is a rare passage migrant and winter visitor from late September to November and in March–May.
Most birds are observed on the west coast of Jutland and in
Kattegat.
Six Atlantic puffins have been ringed in Denmark but
none of these has been recovered. Eighteen birds ringed abroad
have been recovered in Denmark: one from Norway and 17
from the British Isles. The British birds have been recovered
from mid-August to early May, most in February and March.
The Norwegian bird was recovered in August in its first year
of life
