Græshoppesanger

Short abstract from the book:
The grasshopper warbler is a scarce breeding bird in Denmark and a rare passage migrant. The birds arrive in April and depart in September. In Denmark the first grasshopper warbler was ringed in 1928 and in total 1,024 have been ringed. The greatest numbers were ringed in 1981 (60). Only one of the ringed birds was recovered: a bird was ringed on 9 September 1991 in Skagen and recovered 2 km away on 18 May 1992. Two birds ringed abroad have been recovered in Denmark: one ringed on Heligoland on 14 May and one ringed at Falsterbo on 1 August.
