Short abstract from the book:
The quail is a rather rare breeder in Denmark with 100–200 breeding pairs. Invasions occur in some years. Twelve quails have been ringed in Denmark, but none was subsequently recovered. Quails ringed in France and Italy has been recovered in Denmark. The first was ringed on 30 May 1924 and recovered on 17 July the same year; the second was ringed on 4 May 1947 and recovered on 20 July the same year.
