Short abstract from the book: The turtle dove is a rare breeding bird in Denmark, breeding
almost entirely in southern Jutland. The breeding population
is estimated at 60–110 pairs. Only 12 turtle doves have been
ringed in Denmark, with one of these recovered. The bird was
ringed on 11 October in northern Jutland and recovered near
Leipzig six years later.
