Short abstract from the book:
The fieldfare breeds in many parts of the country, but is most common in north Zealand, northwest Jutland and on Bornholm. It is a common passage migrant and winter visitor. In Denmark the first fieldfare was ringed in 1934, with the majority ringed from the late 1960s to today. Most of the recovered fieldfares were ringed from December to February. Passage migrants from Sweden, Finland and Norway arrive in October. From Denmark many birds migrate SSW. In November most birds are recovered in France and Italy. During winter birds have been recovered in western and central Europe, mainly in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and northern Italy. The few winter recoveries of fieldfares from the Danish population are from France. In March the mean position is south of Denmark and in April in Denmark.
