Short abstract from the book:
The golden eagle is a very rare breeder in Denmark with only two breeding pairs (2004). It is a rare passage migrant and winter visitor. Only one golden eagle has been ringed in Denmark, but was never recovered. One bird ringed as a chick in Estonia in 1994 was recovered on Bornholm on 22 October in its first year of life.
