Short abstract from the book: In Denmark most white-fronted geese are seen on Bornholm
in the autumn, with only a few hundred wintering, mainly
in southern parts of Denmark. Seven birds have been ringed, all at Christiansø. One was recovered a few days later
close to the ringing site. Twenty-six geese ringed abroad have
been recovered in Denmark, most ringed during the winter in
the Netherlands and recovered in Denmark in a subsequent
autumn or winter. One white-fronted goose ringed in southern England was recovered in Denmark, as was one ringed
in western Greenland. The white-fronted geese depart from Denmark in February-March.
