Short abstract from the book: In Denmark there is only one breeding pair of peregrines,
breeding at Møns Klint. Both the male and female are ringed;
the male was born in Kullaberg in Sweden in 2000 and the
female in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. Immature
birds from countries neighbouring Denmark are observed
from July–August, but most passage migrants are recovered in
September–October. Two Norwegian peregrines were found
in Jutland, and Swedish and Finnish birds have been found all over Denmark. Thirty-six per cent of the ringed peregrines that died in Denmark had been hunted; however since 1971 the figure is only one.
