Short abstract from the book:
The nutcracker is a rare passage migrant and an irregular irruptive winter visitor. Seventy-nine nutcrackers have been ringed and one of these recovered (1.3 %). Eight birds ringed in Norway, Sweden, Germany and Kaliningrad have been recovered in Denmark. The birds were ringed from 8 August to 12 October and recovered from 13 October to 28 March, all within six months of ringing.
