Short abstract from the book: The willow tit colonised Denmark in the 1970s and now
breeds mainly in southern Jutland. In Denmark the first
willow tit was ringed in 1992. In total 19 birds have been
ringed, with the highest number ringed in 2000 (5). One
of the ringed birds has been recovered: it was ringed as
a juvenile on 3 October 1998 in southwestern Denmark
and recovered at the same location on 25 December the
same year.
