Short abstract from the book: The black-throated diver does not breed in Denmark; however,
in particular the Kattegat and the Wadden Sea are important
moulting and wintering areas. In Denmark 14 black-throated divers have been ringed, most in the Baltic Sea around
the island of Bornholm. One of these birds was later recovered
in Siberia 3,759 km from the ringing site. This bird was ringed on 13 November 1968 and recovered on 15 September
1970. Two birds from Sweden and four from Kaliningrad
have been recovered in Denmark from mid-October to the
end of January.
