Short abstract from the book:
The gyrfalcon is a very rare visitor to Denmark with only one to two observations per year. One gyrfalcon has been ringed but was never recovered. A gyrfalcon ringed as a chick south of Trondheim in Norway in 1988 was found dead in Denmark in November 1995. A birds ringed with a colour-ring as chick in 2003 in Jämtland, Sweden, was observed in Denmark in December 2005.
